OWAB FOUNDATION’S MY IFTAR MEAL EVENT FOSTERS COMMUNITY SPIRIT IN SURULERE

On April 6, 2024, OWAB Foundation hosted the My Iftar Meal event at the Wahala Abdulwaheed Folawiyo Central Mosque, Shitta Roundabout, Surulere. As the holy month of Ramadan commenced, the foundation sought to provide support and sustenance to members of the community by offering cooked meals for iftar, the breaking of the fast.

Beneficiaries from diverse backgrounds gathered at the mosque to partake in the communal meal, sharing laughter, stories, and moments of gratitude.

OWAB Foundation’s volunteers worked diligently to ensure that everyone received a warm and nutritious meal, fostering a sense of camaraderie and goodwill among attendees. The event exemplified the spirit of generosity and compassion that defines Ramadan, uniting individuals from all walks of life in a shared celebration of community and kindness.
